There are many places and ways to find scientific information, and knowing where and how to search is crucial when conducting research for your thesis or assignments.
During this workshop, you will learn which search systems you can use depending on your information needs and the type of information sources you want to use. We will then focus on how to build a systematic search query for a bibliographic database such as Scopus. You’ll get the chance to try it with your own topic and receive advice from one of our information specialists.

- different types of search systems;
- which search systems to use for your research goals; and
- different search strategies you can apply to your information search
- building search queries in bibliographic databases
We highly recommend this workshop for bachelor’s and master’s students working on an essay, report, or thesis.
